About the speaker Nandini Mansingh Nandini has 15+ years experience across Media & Entertainment, Early-Stage Ventures Investing, Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory.
Recently Nandini has launched Idyabooster, a funding platform for creative projects, focused initially on films, theatre, short films, documentaries and music videos. The platform brings together creators of curated projects with investors looking to invest in this exciting new asset class.
She is also an active seed and angel stage investor, investing individually and through angel investment networks like Mumbai Angels Network and Ah!Ventures. These networks invest in start-ups, who have been able to demonstrate proof of concept and are looking to scale up with the next round of funding.
Previously, for 5+ years, Nandini was with J.P.Morgan India, across leadership positions in the Investment Banking Research group. I was a part of the senior management team responsible for a 150-member team, involved in preparing client pitches for capital raising (both equity and debt) and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Prior to JPM, Nandini worked with the Times of India Group in the corporate strategy group focused on media across platforms, both traditional and digital media.
